This nice planishing chasing smoothing domed hammer is great for smoothing tasks. You can smooth wire and sheet. You can also shape sheet shock over a shaping stake with this hammer. The face is a generous 1 1/16 inch. The ball is 1/2 inch across and will impart a nice hammered look to copper, brass & sterling. The ball can be used to bloom out and soft metal rivet. The ball makes a nice hammered impression but very small.
